| IJAK Solutions, Inc. announced
that they are developing the newly recognized WirelessHD products.
WirelessHD was formed by a special interest group of seven market
leaders in 2005. Their goal was to develop an interoperable wireless
specification for wireless multimedia transmission. WiHD 1.0 specification
was developed for high-definition baseband audio/video (A/V) streaming
and high-speed media transmission. This non-line of sight multi-gigabit
communications technology is in the unlicensed 60 GHz band and offers
uncompressed, lossless HD video, audio and data transmission. IJAK
is developing applications for WirelessHD that include A/V streaming
between set-top boxes, laptops, HD disc players and HDTVs, as well
as applications for home theater systems, A/V receivers and speakers.
Applications for streaming gaming systems with PCs and streaming digital
camera and video recorders with HDTV are also on the horizon from
IJAK. WirelessHD production samples will be available for testing
in Q3 2008, with mass production being available in Q4 2008 or Q1
2009. IJAK sees great opportunity in the WirelessHD space with so
many applications.
